Steve Dowling

Steve Dowling is responsible for creating and enabling Sirius’ corporate strategy for solutions that exploit the “as a service” model for IT consumption. His team of industry experts supports the company’s lines of business through cross-functional integration, solution creation and sales enablement, and influence the addition of relevant emerging technologies to the Sirius portfolio.

Mr. Dowling’s IT career began in 2001, and he has since developed expertise in security, enterprise architecture, IT operations consulting and data center platforms. Prior to assuming his current role, he was responsible for the Converged Infrastructure brand at Sirius after initially building out the Sirius IT Consulting team in the East.

Mr. Dowling received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and graduate degrees from the University of Arkansas and Rensselaer Polytechnic University, and he taught at Cornell University from 1990 to 1995. He was a career U.S. Marine Corps officer and retired as the commander of Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, where his mission was precision logistics support of combat and training flight operations across the country and around the world.
