Karen Kochheiser
Chief Accounting Officer
Ms. Kochheiser joined the company in March of 1998 as the Director of Human Resources. Her responsibilities included all Human Resources functions, Facilities, Administration, Acquisition Integration, and Contracts. Ms. Kochheiser was promoted to the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration in June of 2002.
In April of 2005, Ms. Kochheiser became the VP of Finance with responsibility for Acquisition Integration, Financial Due Diligence, Treasury, Billing, Accounts Payable, Incentives Calculation, GL Accounting, Credit, Collections, Audit, Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis. In 2007, she assumed the additional responsibility for Service Operations and in February 2008, she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance & Service Operations. In September 2012, she was promoted to her current role as Chief Accounting Officer.
Ms. Kochheiser performed a key role in securing additional capital toward the recapitalization of the company in 2006, 2010 and 2012. She performed due diligence and directed the integration of seven companies acquired over a 15-year period, including her past role as VP of Human Resources.
Prior to joining Sirius, Ms. Kochheiser was Controller at two companies from 1994 to 1998, and from 1987 to 1994 held various leadership roles in Accounting, Finance, Operations, HR and Customer Service.
Ms. Kochheiser earned an MBA and BBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
