Deborah Bannworth began her career in IT sales immediately after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 1989, when she joined ProAmerica in Dallas as a sales rep specializing in IBM UNIX systems and the IBM RS/6000 server line.

In 1997, she joined the Sirius Open Systems team as its first full-time sales rep. In 2000, Ms. Bannworth was promoted to Area Sales Manager, where she helped grow Sirius sales of IBM Open Systems servers until the company was named the nation’s top seller of RS/6000 servers. In 2004, Ms. Bannworth was promoted to vice president of Sales for the East region.

In 2014, Ms. Bannworth was asked to create and spearhead Sirius’ newly formed Inside Sales division. At the same time, she was asked to oversee Sirius’ Partner Alliances team with responsibility for maintaining relationships with Sirius’ partners. In 2017, Ms. Bannworth was promoted to senior vice president, Partner Alliances & Inside Sales and in 2019, her role expanded further to include leading Sirius’ Maintenance/OneTouch Sales & Services national team.
