Chris Lusk
VP of Software Solutions and Services
Chris Lusk joined Sirius in 1997 as the company’s first UNIX product specialist. Leveraging his sales abilities and deep technical skills on IBM RS/6000 servers, IBM SP servers, and IBM storage products including Tivoli, Mr. Lusk was instrumental in growing the business from less than $100,000 in revenue when he joined to over $350 million in 2008. He was promoted to Manager, Open Systems in 2004 and Director, Open Systems and Storage, in 2005.
In 2006, Mr. Lusk was promoted to VP, Open Systems and Storage. In this role he was responsible for a national team of pre-sales engineers providing architecture and design for enterprise solutions from IBM, NetApp, Cisco and Brocade. In 2007, Mr. Lusk was promoted to VP, Services. He worked at bridging the gaps between the pre-sales and post-sales teams, and also played a key role in the change of Sirius’ core Professional Services Automation application.
In 2012, Mr. Lusk was promoted to his current position of VP, Software Solutions and Services. Today he is responsible for a team of approximately 100 software engineers, spanning many technology areas including Commerce, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Analytics, Data Management, Integration, Governance, Social and Collaboration, Digital Experience, Security and Compliance, Process Management, Asset and Systems Management, and Custom Mobile / Web Development. Mr. Lusk’s team will drive approximately $26 million in consulting revenues in 2014. In addition to his internal team, he works with approximately 50 partners that provide additional delivery resources with on-shore, near-shore, and off-shore teams. Mr. Lusk also manages relationships with services providers who complement Sirius’ skills, and with whom Sirius partners to provide clients with comprehensive solutions.
Mr. Lusk is a member of the Sirius Internal Security Group, working on Sirius’ ISO/IEC 27001 Certification (Information Security Management). In 2008, he was inducted into the Sirius Hall of Fame in recognition of his strategic contributions and long-term commitment to Sirius success.
Mr. Lusk graduated from the University of North Texas in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
