At last week’s Channel Partner Evolution conference in Philadelphia, Sirius Managed Services Executive Vice President Michael Conley was on hand to accept Sirius’ award for being the world’s number-one managed services provider on Channel Futures’ MSP 501 2018 Edition. Conley was also featured in the Channel Futures online publication as part of the celebrations around the media organization’s MSP 501, and the next day participated in a panel discussion on how MSPs can remain relevant to clients.

The MSP 501 list was announced on June 28. This is the second year in a row that Sirius has held the number-one spot on the list of the world’s top MSPs, which is widely viewed as the industry’s most comprehensive global survey of MSPs.

Upon receiving the award, Conley said, “We are honored and appreciative of the tremendous work that went into creating the MSP 501 ranking survey. We have worked hard to ensure that Sirius is correctly positioned to help clients accelerate their transformations from legacy infrastructures to the cloud, and to support their efforts with strong security management frameworks and services.”

The vetting process for the MSP 501 list ranks applicants on such things as business strategies, service deliverables, business tools, automation investments and business models, among other key aspects. The data is collected from applicant responses, interviews and historical data, and provides insights on business and technology trends important to the industry and to the clients that providers serve.
