Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) lacked a disaster recovery program for its primary computing resources. Although UHC was backing up data both locally and to the cloud, it did not have a recovery data center or redundant hardware that could be used to restore its data and resume business operations in a timely fashion. In a best-case scenario, it would have taken weeks to bring applications online after a disaster.
Sirius teamed with its disaster recovery partner Recovery Point and the IT Department at the public housing authority to analyze UHC’s IT environment, establish minimum recovery-point and recovery-time objectives and engineer a solution to meet those objectives. Click here for the full case study.
