Located in Orange County, California, near MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center, the MTC is a state-of-the-art technology facility for healthcare IT innovation, experimentation, meeting and training that was built with the ultimate goal of improving patient care and medical organizations’ efficiencies.
The MTC’s electronic health record (EHR) installation has a complete stack of technologies capable of running a 2,000-bed hospital. The facility includes a standalone, isolated data center and simulation lab, as well as meeting and training space. It includes a comprehensive collection of the latest technologies (including servers, storage, network, software and tools) to explore various aspects and requirements for a wide range of healthcare and EHR operational needs.
