Sue Bonar Named CRN’s 2015 Women of the Channel Power 50 Solution Provider

Sirius Senior Vice President of Sales Operations and Vendor Programs earns special distinction within The Channel Company’s annual recognition of female channel executives

On June 1, The Channel Company announced its annual CRN® Women of the Channel honorees – highlighting the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact the have on the advancement of the IT channel. The annual list honors outstanding female executives across solution provider organizations prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their achievements and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward.

The 2015 Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel. Within that group is a subset of women who have earned special distinction based on their exemplary record of success and their level of influence in the channel – the Power 50. This year, Sue Bonar, Senior Vice President of Sales Operations and Vendor Programs at Sirius, has been named one of the elite Channel Power 50 Solution Provider women receiving this distinct honor.

After joining Sirius in 1994 as a sales rep in the company’s Telemarketing Group, Bonar has risen through the ranks, becoming Director of Operations in 2000, where she was instrumental in setting up new processes to better support clients, the sales team, and the fast-growing company. Since then, she has served as brand manager for Software and IBM System x, Director of Compliance and IBM Programs, and promoted to Vice President in 2008. In 2011 she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales Operations and Vendor Programs, and was given the additional responsibilities of running the entire sales support operations and maintenance teams.

Bonar has played a critical role in the integration of seven companies that Sirius acquired over a 15-year period, and also serves on the Operations and Services Councils of numerous manufacturers and distributors in the IT industry. In 2012, she was inducted into the Sirius Hall of Fame.

The Women of the Channel, with expanded coverage of the Power 50, will be featured in the June issue of CRN, and online at http://www.CRN.com. Congratulations to Sue Bonar on being named one of CRN’s 2015 Women of the Channel Power 50 Solution Providers!
