On May 1, 2015 Sirius announced that it has acquired North Carolina-based Varrow, Inc.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, Varrow specializes in providing a full spectrum of customizable cloud and data center solutions and services. It brings a wealth of expertise in these areas, and has earned its clients’ respect with the exceptional quality of its people and the services they provide. Recently named by the Triad Business Journal as the #1 Fastest Growing Company in the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point) for the fourth year in a row, Varrow is considered a “go to” partner for EMC, VMware, Cisco, Citrix and Palo Alto.

The acquisition follows Sirius’ strategy of expanding its solution expertise and strengthening its technical skills in order to better serve its clients. “Our clients are moving more and more toward converged infrastructure and private cloud solutions,” said Joe Mertens, president and CEO of Sirius. “We are also seeing increasing demand for mobility and security solutions, so we have continued to invest in those practices. Varrow brings a wealth of expertise in these areas, and they have earned their clients’ respect with the exceptional quality of their people and services.”
