Nutanix, a Sirius partner, recently launched their first large-scale philanthropy project entitled Web-Scale Wish. This community-oriented project spans five countries across three regions, and brings the power of web-scale technology to deserving non-profit organizations.
The Web-Scale Wish Project will donate up to $500,000 of products and services to worthy causes selected by the community, with the goal of furthering the organizations’ missions by backing them with the power of web-scale technology.
Anyone can take part in the selection process! Here’s how you can get involved:
- Go to www.webscalewish.com and nominate a non-profit organization that you are passionate about by November 21, 2014. Non-profits can also nominate themselves
- A panel of judges from the technology community will shortlist three non-profits as finalists based on the information provided by the organizations
- On December 10, 2014, tune into the virtual event and cast your vote for the finalist of your choice
The winner – as well as the two runners-up – will get donations of Nutanix products and services to overcome challenges in their IT environments and enable their organizations to affect more positive change.
