Executive Bio: Michael Harwood, SVP of Marketing
As senior vice president of Marketing, Michael Harwood is responsible for marketing demand generation, corporate communications, events and campaigns, and the Sirius Call Center.
Mr. Harwood joined Sirius in 1993 as a Systems Assurance Manager, with responsibilities that included developing systems assurance and technical implementation planning process for clients. From there, he was promoted to director of Operations with responsibility for operations and purchasing, director of Business Development, and director of Marketing and Call Center Operations.
Prior to joining Sirius, he held positions at West Telemarketing as a software development analyst and programmer, at Advanced Micro Devices, and with the US Army (ADM) Engineering Corps as a communications specialist.
Mr. Harwood is a member of the American Marketing Association, the IBM Business Partner Marketing Advisory Council, the B2B Technology Marketing Community, and the eMarketing Association. He is the recipient of numerous awards at Sirius, including Sirius Executive of the Year, multiple President’s Management Excellence Awards and Excellence Awards, and Newcomer of the Year. He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems.
