Executive Bio: Jane Mitchell, VP of Sales Operations
Jane Mitchell joined Sirius in 2003 as manager of Sales Operations. During her tenure, Ms. Mitchell has taken on various responsibilities including leading teams accountable for quote-to-order for all products, compliance and vendor programs, and IT project initiatives.
In 2006, Ms. Mitchell was named director of Sales Operations with responsibility for growing the IBM Global Services business. Within the following year, all quote-to-order for IBM products was moved under her leadership. She was promoted to VP of Sales Operations in 2015, with Operations responsibility for all brands. Besides her focus on all sales support activities, she redesigned the Sales Operations model to better support the business, sponsored the development and implementation of an internal proposal tool, created and implemented an associate program that targets new college graduates, and implemented KPI to drive efficiencies through Operations.
Prior to joining Sirius, Ms. Mitchell managed the sales efforts at Rogue Wave Software, and was the first woman manager hired into a GE division, where she led the marketing and sales efforts of a GE Lighting and GE Supply joint initiative.
Ms. Mitchell earned her BA from Wichita State University.
