Executive Bio: Sue Bonar, Chief Operations Officer
Sue Bonar joined Sirius in 1994 as a sales rep in the company’s Telemarketing Group. In 2000, she became director of Operations, and was instrumental in setting up new processes to better support our clients, the sales team, and the very fast-growing company. Her responsibilities included quote-to-order for all products, contracts, services operations, and overall sales support.
In 2002, Ms. Bonar assumed brand management responsibilities for Software and IBM System x. In 2003, she became the director of Compliance and IBM Programs, and was promoted to vice president in 2008. In this role she oversaw the team responsible for managing hardware and software rebates, deal structuring, bid certification, and registration processes.
In 2011, she was promoted to senior vice president of Sales Operations and Vendor Programs, which included her previous responsibilities as well as leading the sales support organizations for Sirius’ product, maintenance and services teams.
Ms. Bonar played a critical role in the integration of eight companies that Sirius acquired over a 15-year period. She also serves on the Operations and Services Councils of numerous vendors and manufacturers. In 2012 she was inducted into the Sirius Hall of Fame, and in 2015 was named to CRN’s 2015 “Most Powerful Women of the Channel” as well as the elite subset of “Women of the Channel Power 50 Solution Providers.”
Ms. Bonar holds a degree from Abilene Christian University. She is currently a member of the Junior League of San Antonio, and is actively involved with the United Way and Women’s Leadership Council.
